Tabling at community events

I am honored to be frequently invited to table at community spaces and events geared toward healing justice and the arts. Beginning in January of 2024 I have been offering Tarot readings and sharing my art with the community via Mudluk Pottery Studio’s monthly First Friday events. Some other examples of this type of engagement include:

Teaching & Facilitation

Over the past few years, I have offered several workshops and classes on Tarot, spiritual listening, and setting and holding spiritual and energetic boundaries. Topics I have facilitated include:

  • Radical Imagination - unique virtual art experiences I offered on 8 different occasions between November 2023 - July 2024, with an average of 5 participants per session

  • Tarot practice, history, and divination - I offered 14 virtual and in-person Tarot practice sessions between May 2023 - July 2024, with an average of about 5 participants per session

  • Plants as Teachers: Ancestry, Colonization, & Repair - I taught 3 workshops in partnership with Maria Wesserle of Four Season Foraging (in-person on 6/22/24, 10/14/23, and 8/16/23, averaging about 12 participants per workshop)

  • Plants and Perseverance: plants as friends and medicine during difficult times - I taught this workshop in partnership with Four Season Foraging and Reishi, a local herbalist and friend (in-person 6/15/24, ~15 participants)

  • Elemental Tarot Basics, a 6-week course I developed and taught from mid-September - November 5, 2023 (5 students completed the course)

  • Boundaries in Care Work workshop for Threshold Healing massage therapists (10/28/23, ~8 participants)

Email Updates, Tarotscopes, & Social Media

I manage an email list of 640 members, and I send a monthly e-newsletter I call Nonna Terra Tarot New Moon Updates. This is the primary way I communicate with my audience about where they can find me and engage with me and my work, both Tarot-related and my broader artistic work. I am proud of my open rates, which often exceed 80%.

I also post a monthly Tarotscope to the Nonna Terra website - a creative essay based on the Tarot cards associated with each astrological season. I announce each new Tarotscope in the New Moon Updates newsletter as well as on my Instagram, Facebook, and Bluesky (@nonnaterra.bsky.social) social media accounts. I currently have 127 followers on Bluesky, 969 followers on Instagram, and 689 friends on Facebook.
